break*through - accountability and finding your fire…
Hello friends!
It’s almost that time again… To celebrate our next episode, our team has put together another exclusive break*through playlist reflecting a mix of voices and genres all meant to spark a breakthrough… or drive away the Sunday scaries—whatever you need most!
Because, sometimes like Macy Gray, all you can do is “try” and commit to seeing something through even when all seems lost. Or, like Bjork, you will hear the calling of your oldest “ancestress” to do something she might never have thought possible—a feeling of both weighty responsibility, but also one of momentous rising ascendancy.
On Tuesday’s special crossover episode of break*through, (also featured on THE IDEALISTS. Podcast network) you’ll hear yours truly (yes, me) experiencing my own breakthrough when what begins as an auspicious, groundbreaking, vulnerable coaching session about activating one’s deep ancestral calling, goes completely off the rails. As I grapple with how to make it right with the guest in a candid debrief session, there are so many lessons about what it means to take ownership of missteps, and make real and meaningful changes so that all involved can ultimately get what they need to thrive. Humbling as it was, the lessons here were too valuable not to share.
After the episode, I hope you will be ready to do your own pivotal self-coaching work around accountability, grace, and forgiveness. And maybe Grace Grundy’s wisdom when she sings, “We only get what we give…” will ring especially true as it did for me.
But no matter where you’re coming from… Come as you are. There’s always a song and a voice to heal you.
With gratitude,
